When we first started this blog, we had high hopes of providing you with fabulous content that would enrich your lives and raise your fitness to a new level. But alas, with crazy schedules and getting the little ones back to school, we’ve barely had time to piece two sentences together. (You should try having a conversation with us…it’s even worse) Have no fear! Those posts are coming. They are percolating and brewing, getting ready to bubble up chock full of information you don’t want to be without….but for now, we just have one thing on our minds: Instructors! We are dying to know who you respond to, who you can’t live without and who rocks your world. Feel free to answer honestly, as you can post anonymously. Your feedback just may mean you will be seeing more of that superstar on the schedule.
So here it is….the question of the day:
You ready….
Who is your favorite instructor? and why?

Top Pics!
Alison> Good range of music, she kicks my butt cause I need it, good sense of humor, mix of intervals and climbing. I walk out hurting and smiling in a good way!
Ani>Friendly, good music includes some great dance music, great long intervals and sprinting, motivating! Walk out a happy camper!
I have 3:
Alison, because she kicks my butt, makes me laugh and keeps me motivated.
Cindy has the greatest play lists, and her interval class is cruel–in the best way.
Johnny, well, because he’s Johnny–and he makes you run like you’re being chased by the LAPD.
Thank you so much for your feedback! I love having you in my class too! See you soon!
Alison, because I love her music, her sense of humor, she works as hard as we do and class always seems to go by quickly.
Cindy, because you are constantly changing things up coming up with new playlists and new rides to kick my butt in new ways.
Oh yeah one more, Darby because he helps me get my zen on and does not mind if I laugh during yoga.
I also have two…Danielle and Rod. Danielle is great because she is so enthusiastic and smiley. She has awesome music and always makes sure everyone is comfortable and involved. Rod is also a wonderful instructor. I think I’m biased because we’re both cyclists and I like that part about him
He does a great PedalCore class and has me sore for days after!
Shirin !
Lover her energy, encouragement and her classes are so personalized UNIQUE !
Thanks Dalel, you are a joy to ride with
Stay Strong.
I can’t pick just one fav, they’ve all helped me reach my goals. They are all important parts to one body.
I’ve been riding and racing all types of bicycles for decades, from BMX, road, mountain and cyclocross bikes. I recently fell off the fitness train and these women brought me back from the brink in a short amount of time … Better, faster, stronger.
Tamar fits my current fitness needs this season almost perfectly, she just needs more classes. She always has awesome music and takes requests, uses the full range of resistance during hills and even sprints (uses 11 at times hahaha), Her jump sessions seem to go on forever, which I luv. Super involved, motivating and encouraging beyond what you think you can do. Her program pushes me to the limits mentally and physically, drained but wanting more. Please add more classes to schedule!!!
Ani, super strong, super fit, super motivating. Pain and results through “isolation”. I seem to leave her class hurt but in a good way. Her cadence and cardio burn is insane.
Dani, fully involved, motivating and smiling as she’s beating your butt into shape.
Lisa, a new certified instructor but after taking her class you would think she’s been teaching for years. A true pro!!!
Ruby, I like that when I couldn’t ride my bike I take her class …The closest to mirror an intense mountain / road bike ride on an indoor bike trainer in my opinion. Maybe it was just me but I seem to have worked my upper body as well as legs through her program. Her “jump” sessions are an awesome and challenging burn, my favorite part of her workout. Come to think of it, I barely sat on the saddle in her class. Ruby is friendly, motivating and puts a music playlist together that always seems to fit.
Cindy, the most fun you can have while working out. Gotta love her PedalParty, as the name is often times deceiving. The flashing lights and loud music are strategically placed to distract you from your true pain and suffering. LOL …As your trying to catch your breath her 50 min class seems to go by quickly.
Izzy, you are awesome!!! I don’t get to have you much in my classes, but when I do, I can’t stop smiling. Your energy is contagious! Your enthusiasm, inspirational!!! What else can I ask for from a client? Let’s ride together soon!!!
Allison because she likes Scissor Sisters. What else do you need?
Ani because she’ll make you feel like you’re dancing on your bike.
John, I am lucky to have you in my class!!! Love your positive and inspirational energy!!! Adore your music!!! Thank you for all of that!
Ani is my favorite! She is an organized and efficient communicator, she is always prepared for class, and she puts together a great workout!
Thank you Deana!!! I also love having you in my class! You always smile, no matter what! Love your enthusiasm, energy and positive spirit!!! Looking forward to coach more rides that you will enjoy and take with me. Smiles:)
Lisa is also wonderful. I agree that it seems like she has been teaching for years.
Ani is an incredible teacher. Her choreography goes perfectly with her music selection and her cues are flawless.
Ana, thank you
I can’t tell you what a pleasure it is for me to have you in my class! Your energy and hard work are SO VERY INSPIRATIONAL!!! With such work you will achieve great results. Way to go!!!
Michelle: Encouraging and great music. I push myself harder in her class, want to see her teach more classes at Claremont, PLEASE.
Eric: Funny sense of humor and makes the class fun!
Patrick: Good music, challenging class!
Angela: Calming and encouraging, supportive. good music!
Shirin: very technical, result oriented rides. If only I can fit my life into all her scheduled classes.
Eric: Love the music and the rides that go with them.
Patrick: I get your humor, though a lot of people don’t. Love your punishing rides. Like the stories that goes with the music you play.
Heather: Love how she reminds me not to waste my time. Like that she goes around and corrects your form. Love the music too.
Cheryl: Very encouraging.
Doug: Calming and intense all at the same time.
Stacy: Your killing me girl..in a good way.
I haven’t tried all the instructors in Rancho and Claremont but those that I have tried, I haven’t found one that I didn’t like. They are all very special and care about giving you the best workout. Cheers to all…..
Thank you, music to my ears! So glad you enjoy our rides
You guys motivate me to do the best I can.
YOU ROCK!
Great Race Day Doug!! You kicked my butt! I was not only fatigued but also a little sore the next day and had one of my highest calorie burns for a one hour ride. I am set for a little bit, but I am glad we had a Race Day. We will well overdue! There were times during the ride however when I was drowning in my own sweat, beat red in the face from heat exhaustion, heart rate in the high 160′s + and trying to catch my breath after a drill and you had “the nerve” to say “feel free to break away at any time” and I thought to myself “yeah right……. whatever!!!” because I couldn’t imagine breaking away at that moment even if I was being chased by a rabid wild animal. Just thought you might want to know what goes through the minds of your class members sometimes. . Ha Ha! Thanks again! Candy
Hey everyone!! THANK YOU to everyone who took the time to post! All posts were encouraging and exactly what we wanted to hear! This is your studio so PLEASE feel free to post or make requests at anytime
